It’s been ages since i posted a blog last, so i thought i’d do one quickly…
The first week or two i was here, the weather was really nice for the time of year, but it’s turned definitely much colder since then. It’s after 11am at the moment and there’s still frost on the roof i can see from the window, here at my mum’s place. I think it’s about 4 degrees out there, and cloudy. The flights from Darwin to London were pretty good. Too long, of course, but apart from that as good as could be expected.
I flew to Singapore with Tiger at ten to one last Friday morning. I’d been told that Tiger were really strict about baggage allowances, but i was about 4kg over and they never said anything about it.

Well, the title’s a bit misleading, cos i didn’t suffer from jetlag at all this trip. I haven’t really had much in the way of jetlag for a few years now, i’m not sure why – i must be getting used to hopping from one side of the planet to the other.
Weirdly, the last time i remember feeling jetlagged was when i flew from Sydney to Melbourne in February 04! It was weird, i really had jetlag – of sorts, anyway. I put it down to the difference in day lengths between north and south (i hadn’t been in Sydney long, and was still adjusted to Brisbane conditions), and the dramatic change in climate (it was cold in Melbourne, as almost always!). … Read more »
